The gym tracker that makes you show up.

Kongo is a workout tracker for iPhone and Apple Watch that turns every workout into a level, every PR into a party and every week into a board you actually want to finish. There's also a gorilla. He's very invested.

1 Level 1 · Your week

Your week is a game board.

Workouts are levels. Rest days are checkpoints. Clear them all and the week is yours. Miss one and there's a gap in the trail — Kongo can bridge it. Once.

Mon Push
Tue Pull

2 Level 2 · The workout

One tap.
Game on.

Kongo loads what you lifted last time, works out your progressive overload, counts your rest and throws a party when you beat your best. Go on — log a set.

How progressive overload works
  1. It remembers. Last week's weights load themselves, and progression suggests the next step up. No maths, no notes app.
  2. Rest timer. With opinions. It counts down on your lock screen and your wrist, and Kongo fills the silence.
  3. Every PR gets a party. Beat your best and the whole screen knows about it. So does Kongo. He'll bring it up.

3 Level 3 · The payoff

Every PR gets a party.

Finish a workout and the board lights up: the level clears, the stats count up, and every personal record gets its own moment. Even a normal day tells you something — like how it compares to last time.

90 stickers.
Zero participation trophies.

Every achievement is a die-cut sticker. Every workout punches a hole in the ones you're working toward, and when the die is cut, you peel it off and stick it on your locker. Some are secret. Kongo won't say which.

Checkpoint · Rest day

A gym buddy
with opinions.

Kongo has something to say for every moment: starting, resting, PRs, comebacks, and the days you'd rather not. Warm, a little dramatic, never judgy. Well — lovingly judgy. In three languages.

You're resting. I'm judging. Lovingly.

I'd high five you but my hands are huge.

Look who decided to be healthy today.

This is the montage scene.

Almost done. I'm so proud. Don't look at me.

Your muscles are having a team meeting. Give them a sec.

? Quick answers

Kongo in 30 seconds.

The short version, for anyone who scrolled straight here. We see you.

What is Kongo?
Kongo is a workout tracker (a gym log) for iPhone and Apple Watch that turns strength training into a game. Every workout is a level on your weekly board, every personal record gets a celebration, and 90 achievement stickers mark your progress.
How much does it cost?
Kongo is free to download and free to log with. An optional Pro subscription adds extra programs and features.
When does it launch, and on what?
Kongo is in final testing ahead of its App Store launch, for iPhone and Apple Watch. There is no Android or web version yet. Join the early-access list and you get one email the day it goes live.
Does Kongo use AI?
No. Its suggestions come from your own training history: what you lifted last time and how those sets went. There are no AI-generated workouts.
What can I train with it?
20 ready-made programs, including Push Pull Legs, Upper/Lower, Full Body and 5×5, or a routine you build yourself from 155 exercises, most of them with step-by-step figures.
Does it work offline, and in my language?
Yes, workouts log without a connection and sync later. Kongo speaks English, Spanish and Portuguese.

8 Level 8 · Early access
